Direct to film, or DTF, is taking the clothing decorating world by storm. As an alternative to Direct to Garment (DTG) it has broader application possibilities. It doesn’t involve cutting or weeding and can be applied to different coloured backgrounds and a broader range of fabric. Cotton, Silk, Polyester, Denim. It can be stored or applied straight away.

The upside to DTF is that garments don’t require pre-treating, and you apply the design directly onto the garment, no matter the fabric.
Because of its ability to handle very fine and intricate edges and design detail it seems to be replacing HTV transfers for many applications.
If you own a Brother GTX Pro, you have the ability to make your own high quality DTF Transfers, as well as owning a DTG printer. No need for a dedicated DTF, and a DTG printer.
